BP…”What Does It Mean” for Health Career Pathways HS Students – 11.21.25

What do those blood pressure numbers mean?

Another opportunity for the San Diego Association for Men in Nursing to help shape the future generations of nursing and healthcare workers in San Diego!

Most children have seen a blood pressure cuff (sphygmomanometer) and a stethoscope, but how many know how it works?
In collaboration with Grossmont Unified High School District Health Career Pathways, we have created some creative, and engaging curriculum to bring both the skill of taking manual Blood Pressure and provided valuable education about it’s importance to Health Career Pathways students.

On a rainy Friday, 10 volunteers, Adam and the Education Team went to El Cajon Valley High School and shared their knowledge, skills and journey’s to healthcare with some excited teenagers. We had a lovely time and hope you will join us at our next education event!
