What does Blood Pressure mean and why do we care? Another opportunity for the San Diego Association for Men in Nursing to help shape the future generations of nursing and healthcare workers in San Diego. Most children have seen a blood pressure cuff and a sphygmomanometer, but how many know how it works or can even pronounce it for that matter. In collaboration with Grossmont Unified High School District Health Career Pathways, we have created some comprehensive, creative, and engaging curriculum to bring Blood Pressure measuring and understanding to our local high school health career pathways students.
We are looking for nursing students and licensed nursing professionals to really impact the next generation of healthcare workers and potential nurses. In small breakout groups you may inspire that one student towards a career that can change their life and that of their family.
