Education Session at Lincoln High School ** Date Change**

Dear Friends of San Diego Association for Men in Nursing,

We are hosting a visit with healthcare career pathway high school students in the San Diego Unified School District. 

Join us as we teach them about the meaning behind blood pressure numbers, its health significance, and how to manually take one with a sphygmomanometer. We will also be teaching them CPR, how to use an AED, as well as sharing different pathways to nursing. 

Open to ALL levels of Registered Nurses and Nursing School Students

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to this event and are comfortable teaching students

When: Friday May 22nd  from 0800 -1545

Where: Lincoln High School,  4777 Imperial Ave, San Diego CA 92113

Charlene Barrett is a newly graduated RN with a focus on education and community outreach. She is currently pursuing her second career after spending over a decade providing individualized childcare to families across the country. Charlene the SDAMN Education Department's Chair and she actively helps lead the Association's Blood Pressure courses at local high schools and is working on setting up other outreach activities. Her goal through SDAMN is to promote health education, and help inspire the next generation of diverse healthcare professionals in the San Diego community.
