The Adam Brotman Legacy Scholarship
Purpose
This meaningful award is designed to alleviate the financial burden of higher education for nursing students who embody Adam’s spirit.
At this time, there will be three awards of varying amounts that will be awarded at an awards dinner.
Tentative Award Dinner Date: Friday November 13th, 2026
We encourage applications from non-traditional students, individuals entering nursing as a second career, and candidates who have overcome significant personal hurdles or struggles.
Eligibility
To be considered for the awards candidates must meet the following requirements:

Currently enrolled in an ADN, LVN, LVN-RN, RN-BSN, BSN, or Entry-Level MSN program within San Diego County.

Have at least one year of nursing school remaining until graduation.

Must be an active member of SDAMN , having attended at least one meeting and two volunteer events.
