Charlene Barrett is a newly graduated RN with a clear focus on education and community outreach. A San Diego native, she is currently pursuing her second career after spending over a decade providing individualized childcare to families across the country. Charlene the SDAMN Education Department's Chair where she actively helps lead the Association's Blood Pressure courses at local high schools and is working on setting up other outreach activities. Her goal through SDAMN is to enhance outreach, promote health education, and help mentor the next generation of diverse healthcare professionals in the San Diego community.
